Good luck with making this sell. No wonder why W is sinking...

Fashion's go-to artist. I'm not hating this, and while I know it's art, the mobile phone irks me. But the colours are glorious, and I quite like the layout.

Good timing as I decided not to renew last week, hideous cover

Ehh, Cindy? She's great and all but super safe and predictable. Who else is there, Jeff Koons?

That´s the kind of cover I HATE!!! It´s when fashion magazines want to find an excuse to do an artsty cover because they want to be taken seriously and involve some culture instead of showing yet again another A-list actress or some singer which is what they do all year long. Covers like these are hideous and they never sell. Fashion magazines will remain what they are: superficial at times, original, interesting, to spend some time with, to escape, to enjoy a life we can´t have and to read some banalité about famous people. Why do they want to be something else???

When I pick up Vogue or Harper´s or W I´m not looking forward to hearing about politics or crisis or money or religion or jobs: it´s Fashion, so W stick to what you know.

Having said all of this, and seeing how many magazines are closing and disappearing from the shelves (going digital or going away forever) and seeing this cover now of W, I will not be surprised when they say (sooner or later and it seems rather sooner than later at this pace) that the magazine no longer exists.

People buy magazines to see things that are conventionally beautiful this is way too confusing. The colors are beautiful though

Remember when Cindy did that incredible Chanel project for Pop? (fyi not for Katie Grand)

Now that was something.....

Its no wonder they cut them down to 8 issue per year. W has seen better days. Stefano had such a strong start and kept it consistent for about 5 years then it continually dropped in quality year after year. If they don't step it up soon there might not be a W anymore. :(

I really don't get this cover. The colors work so well, it's such a shame that the image itself is so... ugly. I mean they're trying too hard...

Well, the hairline certsinly puts me in mind of Elizabeth I. I thought last month was the royals issue? But then I also read somewhere that Mary's got a film due soon and that she's being prepped for an Oscar. Just idle talk though. So I suppose this makes sense.

I hope I don't get the Sherman cover, my mailman already thinks I'm weird!!!

Yes to Mary. The cover looks amateur as ever (thanks Stefano), but it's Mary J. Blige so anything will do!

Special collector's cover, Björk by Tim Walker

Mary saves W… (Terrible, high school theatre level concept, but what a gorgeous profile. Couldn’t they just have gone with a close-up of that profile?????)

(And oh yay— another quirky Bjorky cover… I’ll say it again: She’s so one-dimensional in these kinds of things it’s like Mariah and her stupid Christmas albums.)

The Mary J. Blige cover is so unexpected! It's whatever, but I love her.
Bjork and Cindy are being Bjork and Cindy. Predictable.
