W November 2010 : Kim Kardashian by Mark Seliger

^^ well its with the magazines it wants to be with now apparently, cosmo, glamour, maxim...

Yeah... its really sad. The new layout makes it look so commercial I could imagine if the old W was on Walgreens, it would stand out by its glamour and exclusivity

Wow "Spellbound" is mesmorizing, but not enough to make up for this mess of an issue

Spellbound looks nice. It's not bad at all.

I guess I'd stop buying this magazine if Alex White leaves and won't be doing any styling for them at all. She's the only reason why I adore W.

I love Spellbound, it's giving me this hitchcock-vibe which I always love seeing in eds but I couldn't care less about the other eds. It's always like this with W, they always win me over with just one ed.

Jody Quon, W's creative director, resigned from the magazine - it's the first casualty of weight in Stefano Tonchi's team that somehow evidences the poor choices, of questionable quality (as the current issues proves), he has taken, certainly unwelcome by advertisers.
One question remains, the circumstances which have led her to exit.

Spellbound looks awesome! Thanks for posting, lovemetwotimes!

Cover - I like the cover, I think that it is provocative and witty, I am somewhat surprised that Kim is not wearing a lot of makeup.

Main Ed - In the ed, I definitely like the close ups, Kim has an amazing face. Yeah she gets stuff done to her face, but it is not jumping out at me in these pictures, I've seen it in other pictures but not here.

Kim is werking the "stare into the distance," there are a lot of "real models" who can't do that, so kudos.

I don't like the pictures in silver, but I don't know if that means that the pictures are bad, they are not to my taste or that I have been conditioned to appreciate a certain look that she does not represent.

Although this does not represent his usual style, I like the work of the photographer, Mark Seliger. His niche is celebrity editorials and at the moment I would rather see his celeb eds than Testino's and maybe even Liebovitz's.

Spellbound - Gorgeous looking, I am not crazy about the model cast.

Ryan's Web - Creepy.

Little Miss Maximilist - Hey, say what you will, the old girl has a good body. Are they photoshopping her body but not her face?

first the typographer, now the creative director...is this a new crisis for w?

Anything for a little publicity :innocent:
hahahahahh so true!! terrible cover and she knows it, so now this is going to get people's attention. oh stop crying there are more important issues in this world than your silly (undeserved) cover
