i don't think you need endless legs to pull these off.

I'm 5ft 1, and I do just fine.

But the legs can't be.....you know.....largeish.

with stockings or something.... maybe. this has kind of the same problem as wearing leggings as pants. it's too easy to look like you wandered out undressed or like you're desperate for attention. I like the silhouette though.

i think if one went out in public in them, people would ask whether we forgot to put pants on - because this seriously reminds me of that granny underwear (the one with loads of elastic that makes you look you have a smaller waist?)

I have no problem with short-shorts, hot pants, Daisy-Dukes or whatever you want to call them, but I don't like the stylings and materials shown here.

i'm generally quite accepting of most trends but for some reason high waisted shorts remind me of things toddlers wear.. it just looks kind of silly. plus since they're so high cut they may as well be underpants, which is kind of icky for daily life. for a nightclub they would be fine but i'd rather wear retro running shorts in a relaxed fit and go casual.

they are very lady gaga and katy perry-ish. haha i think those pants are very wearable for performing in music concert or something hahah but clearly not the street style. its okay if it's still cover your butt, but not higher than that.

I totally do not have the legs to be sporting it around so easily, but I can see how they're definitely fun and flirty to be out and about with. (Although they may draw TOO much of the unwanted kind of attention...) It's slightly inappropriate, but somehow if styled right I think they could work on the street scene.

Being 5'9, high waisted shorts are going to fit me more than regular shorts. XD

Am I the only one who sees short-shorts and tiny dresses and think "this is perfect for winter!!!!" I am a big fan of layering stockings/tights/socks (way warmer than pants; also, your jeans won't drag in the snow and icy puddles and be damp all day ick!!) and I think that these sorts of things are ok and more appropriate with thick stockings too and as long as you're all covered up top.

I'm not sure if I'm about to rock a pair of bloomers or a leotard only, but basically I think it's fine. I mean, my American Apparel gym shorts that I go running in are around this small already... haaaa

reminds me of panties....
there was this pic that sienna miller was wearing this undie-like pants to a red carpet event....i don't think i'll wear it out of my apt even if it's so popular that 80 year old grandams wear them as well.
