Wear, Return, Store, Sell or Donate?

Yasmin: I think nr 1 would be gorgeous with a grey u/v-neck, plain jeans and something black. Nr 3, im not sure about, i know i said you should wear it, but it looks kinda cheap. I say, donate/throw it.

Now I have a related question...

We all have those X number of lbs ago clothes whether they're too tight or too loose...

With things that you like a lot - especially things that aren't terribly trendy, if your weight fluctuates a bunch or if you might get pregnant and need the larger sizes, etc., I say if you have the space, store it! Better yet, store it by approximate size - like everything that fit you when you considered yourself an 8 - even if it was a 10 or 6, should go together. Or you could at least have a 'too small' box and a 'too big' box.

If tight on space, still keep what you love most - and keep classics or high end items - unless you're just as happy selling them and can get a good price for them. Things you don't like or that aren't flattering, no matter what the size, sell or donate.

I had very good luck going through my whole closet with a critical eye and sticking everything that wasn't flattering and that I didn't really like in a big box. I wound up with a much more workable wardrobe. Kept the box, went through it later to see if anything should've been ruled in, etc.

And about the original post - I think if you wear number 3 (the only one I can see actually, other pics are gone) - would do it with very modern, minimalist clothing - so that it's part of an actual look and not a too-strappy faux pas. In other words, wear it with something it looks like you meant to wear it with on purpose.

I've bought this t-shirt at Marc Jacobs in Paris half a year ago and never worn it. I like it, but i'm not sure if i should wear, store or sell (donate is not an opion). It's the exact same tee as in the picture, it looks much better irl.

Going thru my jewellery box!! Wear, Store or Donate?
I have a small oval face with delicate features on a long neck and olive skin tone.

The only thing "real" is #4 (silver, and they're upside down, oops), the rest is costume jewellery. Also, #1 is supposed to have those 3 droplets hanging down, not thrown about like that. It is asymmetrical though and the lowest point is where the drops are.

I keep all my jewellery....because even if they are not "hot" anymore, you can use the beads or chains in DIY projects

My (rather opinionated) two cents for Yasmin:

#1 -- Wear.
#2 -- Wear.

I think these two types of necklaces may not necessarily be in style at the moment, but they both have a fairly unique vintagey look and would look unexpected with a little dress.

#3 -- Wear the earrings, sell or donate the necklace.

The earrings look simple and modish, but the necklace looks mall-ish.

#4 -- Sell or donate.

There's something matronly about these earrings in my opinion.

#5 -- Store.
#6 -- Sell or donate.
#7 -- Store until you can restring the pendant onto something else, ideally a bronze-toned chain.

Hboogie thanks for the detailed opinions, I especially think you are right about #4 (going to get rid of them) and #7, I didn't even think of a bronze chain. And I will keep 1 & 2 thanks to your suggestion.

For some of them I am still feeling kinda undecided....5? 6?
5 I've never worn 'cause I dont know what with, 6 I dunno, I don't REALLY like it but I felt like maybe there was a look it would look good with (though I haven't found it...so maybe there isn't)
I wonder if I could use the beads from the green necklace to make anything...hmmm

I have this LAMB pirate-ship t-shirt bought for around 80$, worn twice. I can't seem to find a picture, but for those who have seen it, should i keep it or sell it? Pics later today.. and if i sell, would i get anything for it at all?
