I like it too! I was just kidding initially about writing about patience... but sounds like you could make a cool story about it!

Share with us when you get it going!

I really want a blog too :( but I don't know about what .I want something that nobody has. there are so many things I would love to write about : music, fashion, art in general, film , etc..

I dont really understand whats "blog" but this is my suggestion. Sorry if im wrong. :p
How about something on your childhood or lifetime memories, experiences, thoughts...etc? All the ups and downs in life and how you came through and improve. It'll be nice and everyone could read it.

Just a thought... ;)

ok :flower: i have a blog now which i post fashion illustrations in...but should i just have illustrations or a bit of something else still? thanks

Yea, you have to have interesting things and putting new spin on it for people to stay interested. What's the link? I'll check it out.

I think I can back up it here:

Hello, everyone!

I still feel embarrassed at what I'm going to post - because there is no assurance that I've found a right thread.

Ten months ago I've met my pal whom I hadn't seen for years. I was an intern in a popular girlie magazine, my pal worked as a correspondent. We've dreamed a dream: to make a hu-u-uge project dedicated to fashion. Masculine fashion in particular. It took time to devise a blog called Lad (here's a link if you're interested). Now it's one of the most serious and popular menswear resources in my country. Am I feel proud? Yes. Am I feel contented? No, the world is not enough. :innocent:

I keep on posting for my own blog (you can see a link in my signature), but I have been dreaming about directly-conception blog for a long time. I'm strongly in love with the UK - the both atmosphere and fashion, and I would be happy to make something dedicated to it. Not professional, but just like for guilty pleasure. But I'm definitely a team player, and looking for soulmates (illustrators, photographers, writers).

If you're interested - PM me or send a mail to [email protected]
Thank you.

Old School Mens Style Icons

I am thinking of doing a new blog post on mens style icons but struggling to find new and interesting icons. I have thought about the typical ones (James Dean, Cary Grant, Frank Sinatra) but am looking for style more off the beaten track. Does anyone have any interesting suggestions of what they class as an old school mens style icon?

I don't know if you'll consider them old-school enough but what about Alain Delon, Helmut Berger, Terence Stamp, and Rudolf Nureyev?
