What Bag Will You Buy Next?

i only hold messenger bags and i'm not a  guy  :ninja:

not too hot about the Prada one here,
i seriously dont like wearing logos :ninja:

wow... it's been a LONG time since I bought my self a bag! well... exept my army bag I got a week ago... Last time I actually bought a bag, a "real" bag was back in 1998, there was a leapord shoulder bag from Strawberry in NY, inside the bag sais GIANNINI. At the time I bought it I loved it... now I think it's tacky. I make my bags now, from felted wool mostly. So that's my next bag, I'm going to make my self a felted wool bag with pearls, and I'm thinking of a bottle green bag in the 20's stile with pearls hanging down from the bottom. :D Can't wait till I make it!

Probably something new by Hermes..A Kelly would be classic but I have my eyes on this stunning orange Birkin my SA showed me

But....but......the bag is a plain denim canvas without any logo except for the tiny plaque on the side  Most people wouldn't even have guessed it's a Prada with that was hidden from view.

If you know me you'd know I'm not buying big name items like this for the brand or (ick) the so called status symbol. It's because A) I genuinely like them and  in my area they are much more readily accessible than more obscure brands and sadly, but realistically C) they hold up their value much better, important for an eBayer like me. :P

The Balenciaga Motorcycle Bag in black. It didn't really appeal to me when I first saw it, but it has now jumped to the top of my wishlist. I'm hoping to make the purchase sometime in the summer.

i like this one, guys. he uses ebay to his advantage too. so smart!

i can't tell you how many times i've used ebay to sell designer stuff and highly sought after items i've used but want to get rid of. i once sold my used Onitsuka sneakers for $87! crazy! --

anyway -- i wanna jack spade messenger bag. bright orange!

I'm considering a brown or black nappa Prada messenger bag atm. It's very discreet, doesn't even have a visible triangle logo.

I like this one a lot, but I dunno about spending that much money on a color that will only be in style for one season

Sounds like something I'd love to have, though as a rule I never buy anything brown :P .

Got a pic tott?

The one thing I love about Prada bags is that once you have a particular model number you can search for so much information and pics about it on the net.

there's a hermes or balenciaga men's bag that i want.
i can't find a picture of the hermes bag but it's a slouchy bag.

I only have black bags, at least up until now. Brown is so common here in Italy, it's hard to not get influenced... Brainwashed almost. :P

I tried to find a pic, but no... It's similar to the V166, very plain and basic. Nylon covered with skin, sort of.

I used to have a black V166, until I sold it on eBay for the exact same amount I paid for it after having used it for 2 years

Is the one you're talking about something like this?

I'm working on budgeting for a Timbuk2 bicycle messenger bag, because my old crappy backpack that I have been using for my commute to work is now held together with big safety pins and duct tape and the main zipper is broken.

If I had the budget, I would also get one of those Kate Spade basket bags, but I know I can't afford it. I would hardly ever get to use it anyhow, since mostly I schlep everything around in my backpack or in a briefcase in the wintertime (which is the wrong season for a basket bag anyway).

I got the bag, or at least a very similar one: it's been a while since I first spotted it... It's very, very soft lamb nappa (which I'll probably scratch and beat up incredibly quickly) with nylon straps. The triangle logo is on the back, so it'll be against the body; very discreet. There was also a smaller, flatter model from the same line which was very, very nice except it had the logo strategically placed on the front. I'd rather not have visible logos if possible...

It's article # VA0330.

That bag sounds lovely tott. :flower: Must be a really new model cos for the life of me I can't find a single picture of it on the net

But you're right, nappa is soft and beautiful and all, but it's notoriously hard to take care of and doesn't take wear and tear very well. Take good care of it, my friend.

I'm not saving for anything, because I bought my messenger bag last september. It's a Helmut Lang bag, black canvas with black bondage leather strap closings, from S/S 03. I can't find a picture of it on the internet, maybe I'll take one at home. I think it's the coolest messenger bag I've ever seen, so I'm planning to keep it for at least 10 years (unless someone steals it like my previouse one  ).
