What Concerts Have You Attended/want To Attend?

Just saw John Cale last night...spectacular. The man can still rock a house. Here's to crazy avant-garde rockers who age gracefully. :mowhawk:

Saw Nine Black Alps on monday...with support from Giant Drag, who i loved! Awesome gig

In Austin? I wanted to go soooo bad. Was he amazing? Was Stubb's packed?

Has anyone seen she wants revenge live?

Yep, in Austin. He played indoors at Stubb's and it was quite full by the time the show started. Two hours of non-stop Cale goodness. He opened with "Venus In Furs", which was just beyond awesome. And he ended with the creepiest, grittiest version of "Pablo Picasso" ever. And everything in between was just...wow.

The only disappointment was that they didn't play an encore.

I haven't been to a lot of concerts but the best one I have ever experienced was Madonna/Re-Invention Tour.. wow, it was amazing. Absolutely amazing.

Dream Concerts:

Smiths reunion concert
using a time machine to see David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust
Tom Waits (he never comes to Austin)
Mark Hollis (with strings and oboes and all)
using a time machine to see Jeff Buckley before he died
using a time machine to see Duke Ellington at Newport in 1956 (one of the greatest live shows of all time, in any genre of music)
Sigur Ros
Velvet Underground reunion (they did it once and toured Europe a bit...they need to do it again)
The Dears (I see them once a year, but it's never enough)

Someone hurry up and invent a time machine so I can cross some of these off my list.

And trust me, a time machine will be invented long before the Smiths ever reunite. "When the Smiths reunite" is my own way of saying "when hell freezes over".

I've seen U2, Queen + Paul Rodgers, Cake and Christina Aguilera...

My dream concerts are The Darkness, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, Elton John, Foo Fighters...and U2 again. :woot:

I saw the Drowned World Tour, which was great. When the reinvention tour came around I was broke and am still sad I didn't get to go:cry: .
Glad you had fun, her concerts are always great. I hope she tours after the release of her new album.

my favourite concert was N*E*R*D at Hammersmith Apollo a couple of years ago. There was a great energy and they know how to put on a show.

i can't wait until their show here, on the 19th, and of course depeche mode on the 18th...

i'm going to be exhausted come sunday!!

I'd love to attend any hip-hop concert...Only I'd be the white girl trying to dance.

I Saw Coldplay in stockholm yesterday
:D
it was the best consert I've ever seen! they're just amazing live

I want to see Depeche Mode! But none of my friends are really into them.

I have U2 to look forward to next month. Though Bono's lost a bit of his stamina on stage, their shows on this tour have still been phenomenal.

Just attended a sold out broken social scene/feist concert.
