It's a deck shoe...they look good on some men (obviously that particular design is horrendous but you can get nicer, sleeker, designs).

one needs to wear them while yachting but they really look out of place if worn otherwise

(my bf has a huge collection opf Sebagos but then.. he's a professional yacht skipper )

true...these ones are particularly tacky. i'm sure there are better designs
