I am listenting to To Love Somebody: A Bee Gees Tribute. I loveeee this album so much  and I play it every morning when I am working. My colleauge is going to kill me....

I am so bad at picking favorites... I always mean to compile a list no more than about 3-5 items long, but wind up deliberating for hours on the certainty of my top three, and finally restoring all those choices I eliminated in order to reach my 'final' selections. Until my list is 3-5 feet long

But I'm sure Head Over Heels by the Cocteau Twins is on there somewhere...

OMG where do I start? This is too hard! ok.ok.ok.....sighs* My all time favorite album is........Talking Heads: Fear of Music.

Can I pick another one? lol  ^_^ :p

^^^ Oh, oh...that's a gooooooood one....:woot:

Greatest hits compilations can't count, correct?

It's too hard to choose one. But I do have a Top 5.. out of a couple:

Urban Hymns - The Verve
Achtung Baby - U2
Tidal - Fiona Apple
Ultra - Depeche Mode
Ill Communication - Beastie Boys

Here's my top five...:shifty:

Talking Heads: Fear of Music
Interpol: Turn On the Bright Lights
Portishead: Portishead
Tori Amos: Under the Pink
Squirrel Nut Zippers: Hot

Turn On The Bright Lights - Interpol
The Remote Part - Idlewild
Here Be Monsters - Ed Harcourt
Grace/Sketches For My Sweetheart The Drunk - Jeff Buckley

Have all been meaningful to me at points in my life :) Right now it would be Interpol though

Radiohead- The Bends.
Radiohead- OK Computer
Sparklehorse- Good Morning Spider.
Sparklehorse- It's a wonderful life.
Air- Moon Safari.

^ Dope! ....I forgot Radiohead....(slaps the top of her head...duh):hardhead:

i think i can do a top five... i think... let's see...

radiohead - hail to the thief
the beatles - revolver
the black keys - rubber factory
david bowie - hunky dory
pink floyd - a sauceful of secrets

but then again there's still the rolling stones, Sigur Rós, Tom Waits, the Velvet Underground...

it's hopeless.

Radiohead- The Bends
Radiohead- OK Computer
Garbage- Version 2.0
Blur- The Great Escape

and ofcourse u cannot escape the classics, like the beatles, bowie, pink floyd, the stones...

i personaly think that music scene nowdays is dead... :(
it all ended at the end of a last century...

This thread reminds me of Rolling Stone's Top 500 albums of all-time... The Beatles flooded the top 10... of course. ;)

I can't pick one but I've narrowed my list down to three.

Patti Smith - Horses
Lily Chou-Chou - Breathe
Shéna Ringö - KSK

But now that I look at this list.. it seems all wrong.
I love making all kinds of lists and top whatevers but this is just impossible. I think I have a top ~15 and the very top of that list sort of rotates depending on my mood.

Fiona Apple- When The Pawn...
