Hi girls!

I hope I am allowed to post this! If im not Im really sorry moderators!

I recently bought a Mimco bag from eBay, the seller claimed on the auction that the bag was in very condition and hardly been used.

I recieved it yesterday and there is rips in the innerlining, a hole at the bottom of the lining of the bag. Fraying/ripping from the hardware on the outside and ripping etc.

Here are some pictures.

As you can see the part where the bag is connecting the brass holes at the back is coming apart from the bag. Its not part of the style as this isnt happening at the front.

There are holes in the lining of the bag. One at the bottom, one at the corner of the mobile phone pocket and its starting to rip from the lining.

The pocket at the front also has some tears, theres one on the top corner of the clasp and another on the bottom of the clasp. There are pictures of both sides to show that its happening on one side and this sint part of the design.

I paid $90 for the bag, and the bag apparently retailed for $200. I know its under half the rpice, but I wouldnt have paid $90 for the bag if I had known there were rips.

The seller is certain shes only used it 3 times maximum and the reason why it could be like that is because its been sitting in her wardrobe and has been crushed by other bags. Which i dont think is true.

I told her that i understand that she is a new seller and its important to let buyers know of any imperfections in the bag and her response is that she isnt perfect.

What should i do? I am going to try and see if it can be repaired as I do really want the bag. Its just so annoying that it has all these holes etc in them!

Thanks for your help girls! :flower:

I'm sure eBay has regulations about product quality and whatnot. Try your hand at it and see if you can get any compensation. If you do, use that money to repair the bag! Or better yet, you might be able to buy a better quality one! Hope this helps! Good luck!

If you paid with Paypal, you can dispute that the item was not as described...then the seller will have to work with you (either accept a return or they can offer you an even bigger discount).
