What type of exotic leather is this?

    I have no idea where to post this. Hopefully this section is ok.

    Someone said it was snakeskin but that doesn't seem right to me. Or is it?

    Stingray is kind of close, but not really the same.

    They're from an A1923 / Adiciannoveventitre boot.

    It can be a bird skin, but not ostrich :unsure:

    It looks like lizard skin to me.

    I'm sure it's a snake. The leather is called Karung.

    So it was a snake. Interesting. Thanks! I just did some google searches and it looks the same. Very different from the prototypical snakeskin or python skin, but regardless I love the texture.
