well firstly those are not jeans..those are cropped slacks. Secondly those are not bf jeans, bf jeans are what she is wearing at top shop. For reference

you can still wear skinny...those are not going anywhere , just the focus in denim fashion will shift . Yeah they are rooms for all sorts of styles, its just that skinnies are going for SERIOUS overkill all within the span of a year, it was soo cool like 2 years ago , but the way every damn corporation is jumping on the skinny bandwagon , leaves a bad taste in my mouth , on top of its not even that flattering and comfortable. Well you can to go H&m,
intermixonline, azalea or ebay, but yeah its hard to find high waists in general because its a new trend. My sis bought , wide leg jean jeans with a 10 inch rise from BEBE. the look really nice with stillettoe heels

Me and my friend were discussing this and we were really stuck haha. I dont see them going away any time soon but people will definitely try to defy the odds so to speak, especially here in nyc, but for now i feel like people think its almost like a sin to wear bootcuts now. I like the high wasited look, but along with alongating your torso won't it also do the same for your bum? Their basically "mom jeans." I think it cuts off a woman's silouhette, it's not's proportional & it's not even flattering on Scarlett Johansson. I think the only reason I might like them is because their different, & I'm ready for a change but I'm just not completely sure about this trend.

I'll have to disagree with you and agree with those who said that it depends on who's wearing them and their body type... and I think that for most of us, there will be a cut around that won't make us look like moms.

actually i agree with with stilletto , scarlett looks like a jerry guest in that photo..like she is going on a date to the bingo hall in biloxi.. lol...with a high waist you have to have a non tapering straight or wide leg, otherwise it justs looks wrong. Yeah maybe it looks ok on 80 pound waifs but those are not normal girls.
