When Did You Start Wearing Makeup?

i started in high school and stopped in college.

I was twelve when I started trying it out for the first time, but I wasn´t allowed to wear it outside of the house, which I´m very thankful for today - I´ve seen pics of my first few attempts and I look like an underaged hoochie in tomboy clothes... And that looked as absurd as it sounds..

14 - Because of some parties. I remember at first using my mom's make-up. And then one day we went to this huuuge place and I bought pink Dior lip gloss and Dior natural eyeshadow.
Then I bought Lancome mascara, foundation, concealer, blush, silver/pewter eyeshadow, a juicy tube, Dior eyeliner and Guerlain compact powder. I was sooo happy! Now I had my own make-up!

When I was very little, I'd love to watch my mom put on her makeup in front of her vanity everyday. I'd would paint my lips with her lipstick but then wipe it off because being a child, I thought it felt goopy..

of course, the first time i 'seriously' put on makeup was when i got my very first lovely little PIMPLE and needed to dab some concealer..

i think i started at 11 or 12...I still remember the day i got my first make up products

i had really dark rings around my eyes,and really pale skin that made them stand out even more. so mom bought me a really high pigment creamy concealer for them(it was either MAC or Bobbi Brown),a chanel lengthening brown mascara, a pale sheer pink blush (MAC) and a clear lip gloss.

it really changed my life,and I've been wearing make up ever since.

this summer!! i'm 17
i find that i have a love/hate relationship with makeup. you love it because you feel more pretty and confident. you hate it because it makes you feel ugly in your natural skin. i almost wish that i didnt start wearing it. now i'm stuck in a rut. =T

i never wear foundation- instead i wear tinted moisturiser
but i do laquer on the mascara

18!!...i'm 14 , 15 soooon (i dnt look my age at allll..i look about 17 ) and i wear make-up (black mascara..eyeliner my eyes is what i focus most on)

I started wearing makeup (eyeshadow and lipstick) when I was 12-13 years. It looked HORRIBLE, and I wore all the wrong colours... I just bought whatever my friends wore . When I was 14 I started wearing EVERYTHING (foundation, etc) and that must have looked even worse!!

Now I am 20 and I don't wear makeup unless I'm going out, in which case I will wear mascara, eyeshadow, lipgloss, and concealer.

I already tried lipstick/gloss and stuff when I was about 12, but only at home in the bathroom, I didn´t go to school with it or so............at age 13/14 I would wear make up, but only powder or so to cover pimples...............i would also wear lipgloss, strange but I wore lipgloss and lipstick long before I first tried mascara.............at 15 or so I tried eyeliner (also before I tried mascara) and later also at age 15 I tried mascara and wore it more often.........but I still wouldn´t wear make up at school till I was 17.........the I´d wear mascara most of the time and lipgloss and sometimes eyeliner or powder................then after I had just turned 18 I hardly wore make up at all............and when I was 18 1/2 I started to wear lots of make up also at school, I always wore lots of mascara and black eyeliner plus lipgloss at school....................I´m 21 now, I still wear mascara every day, eyeliner most of the time and lipgloss (i don´t need powder or anything cause my skin is good)................eyeshadow in the evening...................i have red hair and pale skin and when i was 12/13 or so I always wanted brown mascara, cause I thought black mascara was too intense, I remember that..........i wore lots of lipgloss but no mascara or eyeliner without mascara and you hardly see my lashes without mascara so it probably didn´t look good, but everyone makes makeup mistakes and I hardly went outside with make up on when I was younger so people wouldn´t see me like that lol............my biggest mistake: extremely pink eyeshadow (and I wore lot) when I was 18 at a party..................embarrassing.......................excuse my English, I´m German

i was wearing make up to school every day when i was ten. nothing heavy or anything, but still. and now i just do powder, mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliner.. its not heavy. heh.

wow well when i was in gr.6 i started putting eyeshadow..for 3 months i stopped.
then in gr.8, when i was 13 i started puttin foudnation and powder
gr.9- whihc is now 14 years old. WOAHhhhhhalala primer, foundation, powder, eyebrow pencil, mascara, blush(bronzer), and somtimes eyeliner. good thing i dont look cakey you have to try prescriptive custom blend

i started wearling lipgloss and eyeshadow when i was about 12/13
i first wore mascara, eyeliner, and concealer after i turned sixteen but i dont wear alot of makeup..on a normal day mascara and lipgloss, and blusher if im looking pale

I'm 16 years old and I still don't wear make up! I read in elle magazine once when you're sixteen youi just can't go for the au natural look anymore... I want to wear make up but I don't know how to get started. I only wear make up for pictures. And it makes me look way better... and when I don't wear make up I look sooo disgusting... lol so I feel pretty disgusting every day!
