I know there should be some shops in NYC, but where? do they only sell stateside? or in Europe as well?
if so: where??
thanks everyone for any information! :flower:

Do you guys wear this brand a lot?

I use to like it.. then i thought it was a kind of a ripoff. Now I kind of like the stuff they have.

love j crew...sometimes prices are a bit high...yes...but i wear the stuff to death and it is great for basics... i wear their ribbed tanks constantly...i must have 30...

they have good seasons and bad seasons...this one has especially appealed to me...they used to have fantastic sales...but not so much anymore,unfortunately...

i also love their sweaters and the ribbed tanks...both come in tons of colors and aren't super expensive. i love the tanks because they are a bit longer...great for layering.

I like their wool pants and skirts - simple basic cuts in nice fully lined wool. I also have a couple of their suits that I am very happy with.

too bad they don't sell in europe, though.....
(but nonetheless a nice excuse to go to NYC in the near future again!)

J. Crew is so lovely. Soft's right, wonderful for your basics.

It's fairly pedestrian and way overpriced. They upped their prices recently and claimed to up the quality as well, but a recent check at the Rock Center flagship didn't impress me. Bad stitching, patterns not matching on pinstripes, etc., and half of the stuff could easily be found in a JCPenney (being honest here). It's just not worth it...I think there are work staples are terribly overpriced and flat out boring.....there outerwear year after year sucks....the same stuff is churned out...who would pay $300 for a JCREW sweater????....wait for one of the JCREW warehouse sales.....
