White Boots/Shoes for Men

I searched for a thread regarding white shoes, which I did find, however, I was unable to find one that answered my question. So I'll ask it directly! Are white leather distressed shoes/boots appropriate for the fall and winter? The style I am interested in can be seen at www.diesel.com, under accessories, and they are "The Kid" by Diesel StyleLab. I have the shoe version in black, but want to know if I am wasting my money...Thanks

P.S. I've attached a pic from Louis Vuitton Spring 2007 show (Style.com) that shows white shoes, but for spring...Thanks

my friend wore white shoes to his prom with a black suit, he looked such a wally. they are not cool and never will be. they are definatley not hot and nor is a guy who wears them IMO

Traditionaly men don't wear white shoes aside from southern gentlemen wearing bucks with white linen suits. In other words, like with most streetwear looks, you're on your own....if you have to ask I'd say you should abstain.
