they said it would be announced in april, now it's already end of may!
There was a post about the new designers at Gucci & YSL. Let me look for it
Here you go:
2004: With the fall-winter 2004-2005 collection, highlighted by knockout evening numbers, fabulous coats, sexy silhouettes and dragon-buckle bags, Ford takes his last bow on the Gucci runway. Ford considers a career in Hollywood, while De Sole plans to move to South Carolina. Ford is replaced at Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati and at Gucci by the trio of Alessandra Facchinetti, Frida Giannini and John Ray.
Hollywood? That'll be interesting
i thought i was the new designer at gucci
but yeah, in all seriousness, things will never be the same without tom ford. for some reason, this trio of designers who are preceeding tom sound really dumb.
i can't wait til spring 2005!
I know. I'm not too sure how long that trio will last. I hope they all have the same goals in terms of the direction they want Gucci to go. They may have different views of what is good for the house I want Tom Ford back
i will forever miss tom ford at gucci.
question, the collection coming this fall, s/s 05, these will be the first collections by the new trio, right?
Well the first collection by them will be cruise wear then SS 2005 runway
** i cant wait to see their show
I'm curious as to how they will approach Gucci. I wonder if they will pick up where Tom Ford left off, go back to where it was before Tom Ford, or do another re-invention.
So does everyone else!!
