My friend worked at Diesel in Selfridges for a long time. Everyone who works there seems to have a really good time. But apparently the interview process is really based on how you look and your style coz they ask for a photo. If you go there....you'll notice everyone who works in the ground floor young dept are all really cool looking.

too many high street shops have ridiculous processes for applying & getting jobs !

it's all abt whether you project tht & fit their look
i was once asked to apply at miss sixty by the manager . . needless to say i didn't !

I think its 25% of anything clothes shoes etc

and 75% of uniform which i think is something in the current trens and your allowed an allowance of how much clothes your allowed to buy.

As i'm only part time I dont think I get this privilage!

i got 20% off at topman when i was at college, it was one of the student discounts.

I think at the London Topshop they said that if I worked there, every 3 months I would get a "uniform" allowance, which basically meant I could pick out whatever and get 70% off.

I went and tried to hand my cv in last week and the women said there was an application form on the website and to come back with my cv and the form. But I can't find the form on the website?????

Half the staff that work in the oxford circus branch are quite stylish but no offence, the other half are completely indistinguishable. I had the most dippy girl when I wanted to try on some boots. She was wearing converse, jeans and a t shirt. She looked a lot younger than me (though I do look quite old) and every time I asked for a pair of shoes in my size she dissapeared for 30 seconds and told me there were none in any sizes in the stock room! She even tried to say one pair of boots weren't being sold and a random one must have been left on the shop floor.
I've worked in a cafe for 2 years and even though its not retail experience, I'm very much sure I could do a much better job. Whats going on???

This hysterical topshop recruitment, I hope it's only taking place in London.
Because I'm applying for a topshopjob here in Stockholm, and I can't imagine that they'll have that many and tough interviews.
But London's a bigger city too.
And I've been trying to apply lots of times, but they've turned me down because I apparently was too young. They've told me that I have to be at least 18.
But again, it's another country.

Hah, how long ago was that post? Don't work in topshop oxford circus unless you have a deathwish. Its horrible I've just left. And for all of those under 18, there were 2 16 year olds on my floor when I was there.
