Workshops for fashion houses?

We all know that Chanel bought Lemarie,Lesage,Massaro....for its haunt couture and semi-haunt couture shows.Does any one know other fashion brands that have its own workshop,or a workshop that constantly takes a brand's assignment?

Also,do you guyz know which show in recent seasons that commissioned a workshop for special handcraft?

mmm Chanel also has the one-and-only Madame Pouzieux who makes the braid
at least for Fall 2004

Yeah,I mean haute

I know tha JPG is doing part of his embroidery in India,but I want names,names of the work shops.
Armani Prive is definitely doing its special embellishment by some ateliers in Italy,but even their PR manager (in China) doesn't know excatly which ones.

It's really hard to find some information on this topic.
