i agree,kiddo! and its nice to see some whimsy slightly away from that bernhard willhelm derived style for a change too. i love BW of course but i prefer his style from him. its very original this.
there are some cute clothes there but you can barely tell with all the distractions..
i think some people really need to learn how to create buzz without taking away from the point- which is to show the clothes...
it's really to their own detriment if people cannot tell whether the clothes are any good...
i guess it's good to distract if the clothes are no good..
but if they are good...then you want them to be seen...
i think this is true with a number of japanese runway presentations actually...
i don't know much about the labels so i can'[t tell if they are young and just need to mature a bit in terms of how to present their work...
or if this is just something that is particular to japanese culture and the whole 'kawaii' aesthetic ( hello kitty, etc...)
Makes me feel weird because I find this really appealing as a show, but would cringe if I saw a single piece of this on a real person walking down the street.
