Another fantastic collection is this. Look at the three-dimensional cut of the first jackets! Much denim is used and the shoes are from started collaboration with adidas. And some funny looks are there (beware of the animals!).

Of course i am happy to share these pictures with you! They were really great collections! I often look at them again. It's a bit sad... in the beginning of 2000 all the collections (i mean mens collections now) were kind of more interesting and playful imo.: The collections of Yohji, Comme and Dries. But that is only what i think. Does someone see it the same?

I like this collection really much. The cape coat is very nice in particular. I can imagine you feel very elegant and safe, when you wear it.

I see your point, CDGH+ is miles away from its previous glory. but regarding yohji I'm quite impressed with his late work, he's getting stronger imo. I'm happy about him using again a more diverse casting for the shows. It makes a huge difference to see real people on the runaway.

They are embroidery. I have the first blazer with wings embroidery lapels. Prices at retail back then was half of what they charge these days.

nice blazer Buckwheat, prices have went nuts lately, and with the yen on steroids I'm terrified about next winter x_x

I have this pic from Yahoo! and it looks like painted to me, but I didn't saw the stuff irl back then. Maybe he did some embroidered and some painted :-P

The zip idea instead of buttons is very interesting, a new take on the traditional 3 button blazer. I like how it work as structure when is unzipped, giving the blazer a 3D effect.

You are right wire. Now I remember those denim were hand painted and they were very expensive.
