Yohji Yamamoto S/S 2025 Paris

he seems to have positive affirmation of fragility, as something deeper than strength, not as a lack of strength.
as a kind of property or quality, like pianissimo. like a subtle, faint sound would make one's attention acute, expanded and elevated.
long ago he said about kenzo and issey themselves, "they have certain fragility which is personal and charming".

^ yes it's not entirely a bad thing as an artist (Tolstoy's Diaries towards the end, in pure state of fragility and homelessness, is almost cosmical in how he so easily can connect and touch any human who reads that), but there's also the irreversible aspect to it and what it announces and.. the Western in me sees pure despair in the horizon (and in his place in his field!).
