Yoox Spring/summer

Yep...it's in.

Get that Dior Homme quickly, it never lasts long. Some of the belts are rather tasty too.

I don't work for Yoox, no... :ninja:

*fainting*

there are moments in life where you just have to call and verify your available credit. this is one of those moments.

i was gonna get this jacket here in a shop, now they got it on YOOX. its more womens though or a real skinny man ;)

it is really amazing. the belt is real low on the hips and it real looks good with anything you wanna wear

shame the sleeves are way too long for me

for some reaosn i cannot upload the pic, its the black safari style one ;)

I actually didn't find anything I particularly liked among the summer stuff. I did however find a black classic sheep skin jacket on sale! I'm trying to restrain myself; if I am going to get a new watch I need to save my pennies for a little while!

The yoox sale has just started - its worth a look. Some good further discounts. I am considering some of the comme des garcons plaited t-shirts.

I don't know about UK, but for their US sight they prices are just stupid. I don't know how buys anything from them here. I can get the CURRENT season's stuff on sale at same prices.

i agree with that faust...i think it's good for people in smaller cities who don't have access to designers and sales like we do here in nyc...remember...we're spoiled...

helena...i have a black braided (plaited ;) )...comme de garcons top...i love it...but you should know that the braids are a bit heavy and take some getting used to... :flower: i have the one with the single braid coming down the front in blk...and they have a small in black..it's from last year...that's when i got it... same day i got my wht messenger bag dress.:flower: ...i wear it with my wht cropped cargos and flat sandals...it's a great price...i paid retail...

it's that damn store  ...it's so fabulous it just makes me lose control... :o

Faust - that is interesting about the prices. Unfortunately the sales haven't started here yet so the yoox prices look good to me. My husband & I are planning a trip to Edinburgh (you've been there haven't you ) in July to coincide with the Harvey Nicks sale. Got my eye on some Margaret Howell stuff.

Softgrey - oh no had a disaster (again) on he shoe front! Ordered a pair of costume national shoes from Yoox yesterday & they arrived this afternoon (quick isn't it) and I don't like them at all. They are much lighter in colour than they looked in the picture & they are much more pointed on the toe - and given that I am a big fan of round toed shoes over pointed ones I am just not happy so I will be sending them back tomorrow I think which is a complete hassle as I have to organise a courier (and I have a huge document to draft before tomorrow night!!!). I really like the plaited t-shirt. I remember seeing a pic of gwyneth p wearing one last year & it looked really lovely on her. what size did you get? I am a US size 4-6 (8-10 uk) & my other CDG stuff is size large because they are so small. I don't want it too tight or is it better to have the body part tighter? what do you think? on another note - planning on washing a black leather skirt i bought years ago to see if it will breathe new life into it - fingers crossed.otherwise it will be binned.

ugh...that's why i hate ordering through the mail...unless i have actually seen the garment in person or know the designer really well...rtrns are such a drag...

that shirt wraps around your body twice...there are four armholes...it's hard to see in the picture...but you could basically lay it flat on the floor...completely open...
it's not really tight like in the picture...mine's a small...it's boxy and oversized and i wear the same size as you...bust 34b...i really liked it in white ...but it's just going to get ruined...so i got the black... :P i think you could also wear it different ways...depending how you wrap it...

good luck with the skirt...let us know how it turns out in the customization thread...i want to keep that thread alive!!!...

thanks softgrey. yeh - i think its a good thread & I'm surprised it hasn't whett-ed more appetites! its a pity.

thats funny - we seem to be the same size - except i am 34a!!!

just thinking....if i return the shoes I could get the t-shirt instead. think i'd go for black too as white isn't so good on me - too pale skin/hair. people always disagree but i think blondes good best in dark colours.... :P

ha!...i think EVERYONE does... :innocent:

urgh!...marni on sale...margiela...dries...i now have 4 things in a shopping cart...oh helena ...what have you done?... :P

i seem to have developed dyslexia in that last post - what i meant was - people always say that because i am fair haired/skinned that I should wear pale colours like pink & pale blue but I think that black looks so good because I am so pale. i find it really difficult to wear brights especially red.

what marni/dries things are you getting? i deliberated over a few marni things earlier this year... I just love Marni and dries!!!!!!! getting delirious now...

have to go home as i am getting really tired - didn't get a lunch today. nite nite!

i also think that blondes look very beautiful in dark colors, I don't know what those people are telling you

I  Edinburgh. We were there when Harvey Nicks was being built. Do you know the little store by the Royal Mile? I don't remember the name, but it's definitely worth visiting. Cruise is a decent store too (although they sell way too much Prada, they have Chalayan and Jean Colonna). It was fun visiting all the upscale stores dressed like a bum (our aim was to hike Scotland, so we dressed accordingly  ). How far is Glasgow from you? You must dine at Gamba!!! Every time I think of that restaurant I salivate  .

<Edit> Let me add something on topic  . I am eyeing a really nice pair of Marni pants on Yoox, but I'm waiting for further discounts :innocent:

Pastels look good on blondes but since lots of the fake blondes wear them they can look very cheerleader. I agree that black looks good on blondes because it creates contrast. Just like girls with tanned skin and dark hair look good in bright, rich colours.

Code: A3E3O7ICSEWG1I
It expires on 9/19.

Looks like they took some additional markdowns today.

There's still a few good things left...they had an Emporio Armani blazer for $98, a Prada jacket for $128, and lots of shoes left as well. Gotta work my way through the site and post my hauls later in the proper thread. Happy shopping B)

thanks theory...that was sweet of you... :flower:

Nice! Thanks Theory. Do you know much about the brand Theory?

Yes, I do. I am very fond of their pants..nice modern cut that actually isn't only good for the super skinny, :flower:

I saw Theory for the first time at Macy's a few weeks ago. I was grabbing some Kenneth Cole and Ben Sherman stuff. Anyways, this stuff is looking pretty cool until I see the price tag. $180 for a button down shirt. Wow. I had never heard of this brand before. Does it rank on the same level as Hugo Boss?
