i love his work, especially the large canvas paintings and the paintings on giant plates/bowls. i remember seeing a picture of the back of one of his canvases. he doodled all over the wood frame. i also remember seeing a sieries of pictures that showed the steps to his paintings. it was realy interesting because he starts by painting them in black paint only, but it was still all shaded. he later covers the black with color.
