Overall, I think Nicole Kidman was the most consistent most elegant woman of 2011.
She in Jean Paul Gaultier is absolutely smashing!
And than, maybe my favorite look of the year: Kirsten Dunst in Chanel! Pure perfection!

The Alessandra Rich dress has such an interesting silhouette and afterwards so many more starlets began wearing AR.

Uma Thurman: She should wear couture everyday, loved the Armani Prive and Chanel

SJP: One of the few times I've ever liked an Elie Saab dress

Freida Pinto: She's not tall enough and I wish she'd kept the original tie but she looks gorgeous still in this Chanel dress

Best Dressed of the Year| Sheika Mozah
Hands down the best dressed politician wife and female royal (Rania, Michelle, Carla who?). She incorporates Middle Eastern elements of fashion flawlessly with Western haute couture.

Let me make a little speech,

This is always the best/most favourite thread, and I look forward to it every December. I have to say, I really appreciate all the effort you guys put into these round-up threads, I cannot tell you.
You guys are the fashion researchers that the rest of us depend on.
I cannot thank you all enough.

And trust me, we appreciate the candids as well as the red carpets!
Even if you don't want to post ALL your favourites, remember you can always do a top 10 or so.... We never find it annoying, we love it!
