Your Best Fashion Collections of All Time…

Surprised not a single Yohji collection was mentioned. Adding my favorite menswear show from him, as well as the one he seems to reference the most
Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme SS1996:

I think I’m too dumb and unqualified right now to proclaim or even understand what constitutes as best, but in terms of aesthetics and directionality in pop culture I have to agree with @Phuel, Dior Homme FW 06 is pretty up there for menswear.

Same sentiment here. It’s only been the last decade for me that I’ve been into fashion to form an informed but I’m really happy that other people also have a special place for These Gray Days. I always thought it’s often lost among the Dior Homme parades. The bolero jacket still lives in my mind rent free… not to mention the mood and the soundtrack. It felt like he was trying to do womenswear and of course a Chanel wink.

Years back I was in a Taipei thrift store and I saw a tailcoat from that collection. Almost pulled the trigger but I had a tighter budget back then and the size was too small it could’ve passed for womens sizing. I wish I bought that coat. Still haunts me till now. They were letting it go for 300 USD. 😭
