Now that fashion month has wrapped with PFW coming to an end today, I thought we'd waste no time in dissecting the best and worst of the season.

For me, Anthony Vaccarello's Saint Laurent outshone everyone else and his collection this season was my absolute number one (just like last season, to be completely honest). I've lost count of how many times I've returned to the thread here on tFS to relive the collection, fawning over every last detail. It was absolutely perfection, so quintessential Saint Laurent and a total triumph. The bar is now set real high for Vaccarello's tenure at Saint Laurent as a result. Fabulous, fabulous collection.

I'll come back and join the discussion once I've went back and familiarised myself with NYFW, LFW and MFW because I've genuinely just had Saint Laurent on the brain since last Tuesday.

YVES SAINT LAURENT!

An unpretentious and luxurious collection, without trying to be trendy... Take note of Balenciaga, Versace, Gucci, Off White and all those brands that are trying at any cost to create something to look original and forget about the main thing!

Favorites are Olivier Theyskens and Rick Owens (mostly because of the first half of the show).
Liked: Saint Laurent, The Row, Yohji, Emilia Wickstead

Slim pickings... I dread to think what next season will bring.

My favorite shows of the season were:

1) Moschino
2) Alaïa
3) Loewe
4) Dries Van Noten
5) Prada
6) SAINT LAURENT
7) Rick Owens
8) The Row
10) Balenciaga

in order from best at the top:
Prada
Miu Miu
Valentino
Bottega
Fendi
Coperni
Acne Studios
Alaia
Sportmax
Loewe
Rokh
Blumarine
N21

Best: Off the top of my head, Erdem was chic, YSL, Theyskens, and Junya!

Balenciaga stole the show

Also I remember being intrigued by VTMNTS for some reason. Don't know what that says about me sorry not sorry

Worst: I legit can't remember to pick anything out

Jumped the gun a little bit, but I want to add Junya to my favorites.

My favorite collections:

- Max Mara
- Saint Laurent
- Louis Vuitton
- Junya Watanabe
- The Row
- Bottega Veneta
- Sacai

Balenciaga had the best show and probably the most memorable moments of the season ( Kim Kardashian and the show) even if the clothes were less than a supporting act…it was an extra.

My favourites:

Dries Van Noten
Olivier Theyskens
Rick Owens
Erdem
Bottega Veneta
Burberry
Courrèges
Emilia Wickstead
Schiaparelli

Sacai and Junya won the race for me, with Jun Takahashi at Undercover coming in a close second.

Olivier & Dries looked gorgeous as usual, with Dries looking more expensive than what I've come to expect from him.

Everybody else can go kick rocks.

The show of the season goes without a doubt to Balenciaga. Although the clothes and the intention behind it deserves another conversation.

Now the collections of the season:

Olivier Theyskens.
Junya Watanabe.
Loewe.
Undercover.
Rick Owens.
Saint Laurent.
Moschino.
N 21.
Stefan Cooke -finally some ambitious yet desirable point of view in menswear-.

I believe this was the worst season in terms of strong collections but I can appreciate the effort and some good ideas from Dries, Prada, Erdem, Miu Miu, Altuzarra and Paco Rabanne.

All the rest can go to the salvation army. Completely useless.
