Your Fav Charity Or Organization

I was curious as to what cause, organization, and/or charity everybody likes to donate their time/money to.

A couple of weeks ago I helped out at the Special Olympics, which was in town

Otherwise, I'm a full-fledged environmentalist

Habitat for Humanity
Amnesty Int.'s "Women's Rights" campaign
Ovarian Cancer Research Fund

oh so many...Habitat is wonderful. I am a big animal rescue supporter, as well as several children's organizations.

Anything related to children ... I used to devote HUGE chunks of time to this Children's Cancer Organization ... should go back!

Back when I wasn't working, I used to do it nearly every night of the week.

Free the Children (against child labour)
Out of the Cold (feeding the homeless)
Leading to Reading (tutoring children)

Also, when I actually have some money to spend, I'd really like to sponsor a child.

donate a cow though i ve never donated to them.you pay a certain ammount that they use to buy a cow for a family which provides a whole family with milk and maybe some money. very innovative and practical charity i shd say

I definitly have a soft spot for a lot of the AIDS research organizations and if someday I have the money I want to start some sort of an organization to deal with the issues that come from bullying in schools.

A local animal shelter - basically monthly donations and I bring them food as often as I can..

Amnesty International does such great work and always has so I support them. I also try to give time or money to anyone who tries to fight human trafficking/child prostitution.

I've been a member of AI for about a year now and I love it. Since I joined I've been exposed to a lot more things I had no idea about and now I inform everyone I know about those issues.

Relay 4 Life (a 24-hour event to raise a boatload of money for cancer research)
CPR (Cat Purebred Rescue-we show and breed cats and know the importance of having animals around)
