Thanks everyone :-) DernierCri, I really don't remember what its called....Igot this way back in 2000 I think. I know its the Traditional Classic in the Jumbo size... I bet it has a name but I am really not fashion forward enough to remember given names of most of the bags I buy.

I haven't any designer bags yet, but I'm thinking of buying mulberry's bayswater in black for starters. It's classic, timeless and affordable. After that...who knows?
