Top new faces and returning faces
Julia van Os - Always glad to see a model making the glamazon look alive.
Amilna Estevão - Sheer talent. Every look she was given, she amplified it with her presence and spark.
Yuan Bo Chao - Loved her sassiness on the runway and fun personality.
Sophia Ahrens - Arresting on every show. So happy to see she had a good amount of openings and closings this season.
Bhumika Arora - Gor-geous. Another case of a natural. So glad of the opportunities given to her this season.
Tami Williams - You can't go wrong with her. She gives a lesson on how to walk with attitude to her peers. Honestly one of the bests right now.
Aya Jones - Class incarnate.
Irina Djuranovic - I like her timid, demure presence on the runway. She has that clean slate look that works with anyone.
Héloïse Giraud - So natural. Like an actress, really. So good to see someone in her 20s doing shows.


Models I wish had a better season
Rianne van Rompaey - Enough with the exclusivity. There wasn't enough of her this season.
Lieke de Jong - Again, not enough of her. She is very pretty in an interesting way. Hope she gets a better chance next time.
Jana Grabow - Charming with every look. Please let her do more shows next time.


Casting moments
Thumbs up:
- Grace Bol having a resurgence at top shows. Her opening at Hermès was such a beautiful moment.
- Sophia Ahrens' fierce opening at Marni.
- I felt this was a good season for diverse models. If you wanna focus on numbers, sure, it's depressing. If you focus on quality, there were a lot of interesting girls with talent just waiting to be nurtured.

Thumbs down:
- Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson at Valentino. Random. Why show up at the blandest show of them all with all the choir girls? Couldn't they do this at menswear? Or at a cooler show at least?
- Balenciaga inclusion of black models into small groups during the collection was such a bad casting decision. It came across as gimmicky and something that probably will be forgotten next season.
- Alexandra Elizabeth everywhere. Still. What kind of model gets known for just two names?

I'm losing my interest in models... so I've lumped my 10 seasons favorites (and standard +1 cheater pick) into one group this time:

Anna Ewers - was hoping she'd break daria's record.
Aya Jones - the most consistent/impressive of anyone, absolute grace and beauty.
Frederikke Sofie Falbe-Hansen - one i feel could be major in the future.
Julia Bergshoeff - what a perfect face.
Leoni Höller - 2 shows, 1 bad and 1 that reassured me of her amazingness
Lineisy Montero - probably the most exciting debut this season, totally wowed.
Luping Wang - she's just soooo pretty!
Olympia Campbell - yeah, so punch me, but she was damn impressive.
Phillipa Hemphrey - underrated killer.
Sun Feifei - so glad she's still walking, always flawless (love her streetstyle too).
Tami Williams - glad she had another kickass season, and that people recognized it.

Best casting moment: Gaby Loader closing Celine

Best cast: Lemaire, as usual.
Worst cast: Louis Vuitton, lame as hell.

Newcomers
Alice Metza - Love at first sight at Proenza Schouler....but Prada sealed it. Absolutely the only debut I was interested in this season.

Returner
Tami Williams - She was easily the most beautiful girl on the runway these season. So elegant, so expensive. Easy enough to have a great debut, to follow up with a breakthrough second season is impressive, to follow it up with an even better third season is rare. Hard to believe she's only 16.

Vets
None. Almost went with Grace, but she's barely 3 years in. Does seem like she's been awhile though.

Missed
Britt Kline, but can't fault a girl for finishing college. She'll dominate next season

Worst Cast
Gucci & Calvin Klein. Gucci was trolling us so I won't even to continue to acknowledge them. How Muna Mahamed, Alix Angjeli, Hannah Hansen managed to land the second most coveted exclusive of fashion month I'll never understand.

Best Cast
DKNY read like a who's who of important new girls. All young and fresh and all fit the atheistic well. Balmain was near flawless.
