This looks great! But then, Y's always looks great in the lookbooks, because of the styling. In the shops, the line can get a little repetitive imo...anyway, I like pretty much everything I see here, even the numbered pieces (although they probably only really make sense if you're wearing both top and bottom).

Thanks runner!

gorgeous pieces. excellent outerwear. i love the color. yet the spirit of yohji is so present.

not sure if it's just the lighting but seems everything's more washed out this season, and gives a rougher feeling in the clothes. also through some of the fabric choices. i think it's nice!
beautiful pictures. thanks runner

Is this collection supposed to be worn both my males and females or what!?

you're welcome droogist, gius

Red Curls, I don't understand what you meant well. but this is basically a collection for women.

sort of reissue from y's archive ( I think more of new editions like plus ever green )
about 40 styles available at isetan from november 10

thanks for keeping us updated, runner!

you're welcome user500
so these are part of what they chose this time.
and if you are interested you can see how they were originally in those days in the catalogues posted here from #35-41:

wow- never saw this thread either...
i tried to go back and check those posts in the other thread you linked to, runner...
but many of those pics are no longer valid...

i read the brochure pdf-
that was good stuff...

the items you posted- these limited edition reissues- seem super cool...
all really good basics...
i especially love the short houndstooth jacket...
reminds me of something i had in the 80's...
(i still have it...:ninja:...)

the first wrap piece with the one sleeve has me sort of shocked...
i bought a piece exactly like that from "a detacher" many years ago in black felt...
i never realized the influence...
it's uncanny~!
...

the smock dress is what i really love though...
i know it's really basic - but with the 3/4 sleeve and the little collar...
it's a great mix of an artist smock and a man's shirt or jacket...
it just seems really easy and chic...

i'm sort of astonished at how much of yohji's stuff i haven't even been aware of...
:o...

^ nani! just checked the link and all the images in those specific posts I was referring to are still there.
perhaps your browser could have some problem now, especially since every post you see seems to become a link once in a while. how about consulting with tangerine?
or you are just referring to the images in gius's post?

thanks for the red tunic!
that kind of thing is certainly a constant in his designs.

^^just the post of gius...
^_^

i love the red tunic so much...
i guess that is what the big cotton tunic from last spring reminded me of...
that sort of thing that was always part of the yohji language from the early days...
it's also a beautiful shade of red...
i think it would be beautiful in navy blue gabardine as well...
and that railroad stripe or chambray or linen is great too...

it seems one could almost have something like that in multiple variations and each one would still have it's own special place...
that is why it can keep being done in some new way year after year without getting boring...

it's an amazing thing...
