I like it, theres a lot of blue in the photo, but his eyes seems lost.

thats a horrible ad looks amateur! agree with Hermes though, I have M7 and Jazz which i love!

Two flankers in one year? Is that entirely necessarily?

As for the ad, it's pretty cheesy looking.

Eh. Why Mr. Natalie Portman though ? I don't feel this embodies YSL anyways.

Who knew that possibly impregnating Natalie Portman would win you a perfume campaign? He looks like he's about to topple off the roof onto the road below. I can only imagine the scent that embodies all these concepts.

we know he's a dancer, he doesn't need to twist himself on the ad to remind us...anyway why did he even get this? Is getting Natalie Portman pregnant really that important that it grants you advertising rights?

looks like a photoshop job in front of a greenscreen

Which actually did happen! Benjamin was photographed on the street and then pasted on that urban background. I stumbled across the shooting pics and posted those at the time. I'm sorry I cannot really link it here for my reply will be ruthlessly deleted by the mods, however, it's a bad bad cut'n'paste, that's for sure. And a really uninspired idea to put so much "Break Free" weight on his shoulders. With his engagement and recent fatherhood going on...

Just sayin'

how could stefano pilati choose this guy for ads? just because he is husband of a famous new oscar winner? stupid.

It is not Pilati,,,
YSL Beaute is owned by L'Oreal & not by Gucci Group any more,,, so it is the sister of Armani, Lancome, RL & Cacharel Parfumes...

that's why it is not the YSL that we used to know & grow up with :(

i know, but the brand head still have part of control, right? it's about the brand image.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: the ad is shot by Patrick Demarchelier. (proof in images here)

Hate the ad, but can't wait for the cologne, I have and love all YSL's men fragrances.
