The Nordstroms store in downtown Seattle had several YSL Mombasa bags with the horn/silver handle in (texturized, not smooth,) Black and dark Brown leather on display as of today when I was there.

btw, thanks for the tip. cuz even though YSL still considers this a current style (why wouldn't they?), the department stores are treating them like they've been discontinued so I've had a hard time tracking one down. luckily they had a shinier one, which I prefer to the matte. and I answered my own question. there are 3 sizes: the big one like Nicole's, the smaller east/west one I posted and a very small handbag.

right now i have 4 mombasas:
a large black mombasa with natural horn handle
a large brown mombasa with natural horn handle
a medium white mombasa with gold hardware and white bleached horn
a small black velvet mombasa with silver crystal encrusted horn

i would love to get another black one, since i use them so much, i really have always loved the very structured version from F/W '02 and regret not getting it. so i think i might get it, if i remember correctly its pretty big

right now i have 4 mombasas:

I think u don't want to miss this one too, it looks gorgeous in real, I am considering the red one for my wife & it will be her 2nd one, I love watching the mombasa on my wife's shoulder, it gives her a mystrious touch
I l ove the matt gold hardware & the thick royal hardware motif , so royal & chic.
i think that the Mombasa is the best bag designed in the new century, love its prpotion & power, it is an investment & i can feel that it can stand 10 or maybe 20 more years, just unlike the dior's saddle.

i have a question about a ysl bag and didn't know what post to put it under so sorry that im off topic. i was on ysl.com and looking at the handbag collection cruise '05 and i like the 'kahala yachting mini tote' kuz i was looking for a ysl bag and one just for summer or something that i wouldnt have to take too much care of. does anyone have any idea how much this bag costs and how big it is?

you should see them in real they are so luxuriuos, love them ,
this one is a mini size, it is small that it can't be hanged on ur shoulders, it is just to be handled on ur hand.
and it costs 1000$, which is quite expensive for a mini size, but that is due to the gorgeous crest.
I think Stefano Pilati did a great job on this line.

it costs about 1000$, which is quite expensive for a mini size, but that is due to the gorgeous crest.

I love it, so far Pilati has two things that I love. I love the crest on the white Mombasa though Im scared he may ruin it by choosing horrid color combinations which he is known for.

I want a crest so I can put it on a blazer or something...Oooo they should make a blazer with that crest on the back but the crest should be HUGE, almost taking up the whole back. That would be expensive but gorgeous.
