Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche AW 05-06

i'm a big fan of the presentation. the clothing doesn't really stand out much.

The whole collection is up at YSL.com

I actually liked it and would wear half of the looks myself. Some of the all black ones were great, real sharp and cool. Overall it was very classic, very chic menswear. Nothing too new just great clothes.

Boring. I think they should take off the "Rive Gauche" part. Rive Gauche implied youthful and edgy (which is what Hedi did for the label). For YSL, yes, it's a good, conservative collection (sand that Valentino looking shearling, of course), but this is not YSL Rive Gauche.

I personally really like the cuts in this collection, in my opinion Rive gauche might just have the best cuts out there, slim but not overdone.
