Maria Cornejo knows how to cater to an easy-breezy lifestyle, so the relaxed, long-running resort season is a natural for her. This time she showed softly cut jumpsuits (“easy to wear without thinking about it,”she said), tunics and lots of geometrically cut dresses. Even her take on the tuxedo had a playful touch. Done in either shiny black or white linen and viscose, the layered looks included a short jacket over a long mosquito-embroidered tunic and cuffed pants cut cropped and loose.
A trip to Jamaica inspired Cornejo’s palette and a bold mask print, and she rendered almost all of the pieces in multiple colors and fabrics for simple, effortless dressing.
