The Hermès Thread is immensely popular and there have been requests from members to start a thread of this nature where members posts images of their Hermès bags.

Guidelines for posting in this thread:

1.Include a brief description of the Hermès bag, e.g leather type, size, hardware, etc in your post.

2. Please do WATERMARK your images to prevent unsolicited use of your images.

3. This thread is meant to serve as a pictorial information archive for members to browse through, appreciate and learn about the different types of bags produced by Hermès

Jean-Louis Dumas, who has led the 165-year old company since 1978, is also Hermès' chief of whimsy. He devised a riff on the Kelly, a little bag with hands and feet and a face, which he calls the Kelly Doll. As in "Quelle idole!" (What an icon!/What a doll!) Last Christmas [2001], he hired magicians to work as salespeople at the Paris flagship store. "Can I show you a tie, sir?" one would ask a customer, who would then watch in amazement as the tie ascended toward the ceiling.
