Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Lineup Revealed!

(NEW YORK) The buzz over Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week’s new home at Lincoln Center has many chicsters feeling like the first day of school is approaching. Well, allow The Daily to introduce your upcoming class schedule. Over 90 designers will participate in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, in four different locations: the Theatre, the Stage, the Studio, and the Box, a smaller presentation space. “We are tremendously excited about our new home at Lincoln Center and overwhelmed by the response of so many designers who will be showing with us as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week this season,” said Peter Levy, senior vice president and managing director of IMG Fashion. “The opportunity to facilitate such a large number of shows and events within the new footprint of the event bodes very well for the new location.”

Clearly, designers are feeling similarly enthused. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will welcome many talents to its stages, new to the event from last season: Betsey Johnson, Bibhu Mohapatra, Bill Blass, Buckler, Cynthia Rowley, Derek Lam, Jenny Packham, L.A.M.B., Rosa Cha, Ruffian, VERRIER, Vivienne Tam, Zang Toi, are all showing their collections at Lincoln Center alongside the usual heavyweights like Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera, Max Azria, Diane von Furstenberg, and Tommy Hilfiger. Expect further announcements in upcoming weeks.

* sorry if it's not time yet to post this ...

so is alexander wang not showing this season or what's going on?

^ he must be showing surely. Marc Jacobs isn't up there either that I can see, so it can't be a complete list.

I think it's because all of those designers show at Bryant Park. Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs probably show somewhere else.

The only one I truly care about is Rodarte. I think I say that every season! Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang aren't too bad.

Enthusiastic list of names:
Calvin Klein
Intrigued to see what
Marc Jacobs
Donna Karan
will do after last season.

I think it's because all of those designers show at Bryant Park. Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs probably show somewhere else.
No designer is showing at Bryant Park anymore  IMG shows are at Lincoln Center the rest is around town, the press release above is for IMG shows only that is why you don't see Marc, Wang or Rodarte,
Marc will show Monday the 13th at 8pm (usual time)
Rodarte will show Thursday the 15th at noon (usual time)

Not sure about Wang, once we get more info will update you
