I hope these haven't been posted yet - I doubt it since they are from a small Scandinavian museum, the Finnish National Museum in Helsinki
This beauty is from circa 1925 and made of silk and glass beads. It's a typical Twenties "mini" dress... thus it is surprising to find out that the wearer of the dress (Lydia Ingeborg Keirkner) was at the time in her 60s!
A whole ensemble, worn to the British court for Prince of Wales's reception in 1926 by the wife of Finnish ambassador. The dress was made at the London atelier Reville - rest of the outfit was made/chosen according to the strict etiquette of court dress.
