This innovative dress is right back in style today. The brilliant hues hark back to late 1960s counter cultural psychedelic art with its kaleidoscopically swirling patterns. The full-length sheer overdress is attached at the shoulders and armholes to a lined playsuit underneath. Unusual Printed One Shouldered Evening Gown 38
An unusual 1970's evening gown in red nylon with a white floral print. One shouldered bodice with braid trim, beads and sequins (the thin strap on the other side was added later and is currently only pinned on one side... I was going to take it out but thought that someone might want it). Flowing, double layer nylon skirt. Bodice is lined but skirt is not. Side metal zipper.

A stunning 1970's Bill Blass Gown in a fiery red lightweight synthetic knit. Two tiered strapless gown with a front nylon zipper (concealed when worn), a long weighted tie at the center of the neckline and a front center seam slit. Matching drape/sash. This gown has nearly endless possibilities for different looks... it can be worn strapless, with a thin halter tie as shown above, with the additional drape tied in to make a halter, with the additional drape used as a drape across the neck or even as a shoulder sash.
