as i just learnt this afternoon that he is the director of Control (the movie about joy d) ... I've been wanting to put a name of the director of photog' for years ... and now that i know he's directed the movie i understand better ...
I loved control you could pause that movie at any moment and it looked like a photograph I regret not seeing it in theaters. I think that some of his photography pales in comparison to his video and film work.
Wow, glad to see he has a thread here. I'm still kicking myself for not bidding on this Ian Curtis photograph that was up for auction at Phillips last fall...
