Born and raised in the Pyrenees (France), Cedric Bihr finishes his degree in neuroscience in Paris in his early twenties. While on his way to become a researcher in whale behaviour, he discovers his love for writing through a master's degree in scientific journalism. He works for National Geographic, Liberation and Terre Sauvage, following researchers in the Amazonian forest, seeking whales in Canada, studying life upon a floating village in Cambodia.
Carrying a camera with him everywhere, it is on these assignments that Cedric discovers how to capture the other side of the story. While keeping a deep connection with the world of reportage and his particular scientific past, Cedric has been photographing fashion, portraits, advertising ever since. He now shares his time between New York, Paris and Los Angeles.
Cedric Bihr has been published in M le Monde, 25 Magazine, New York Times Style Magazine, GQ, Madame Figaro, Hobo, L'Officiel, Le Monde d'Hermès, Wallpaper, Vogue and has shot advertising campaigns for Hermès, Swarovski, Montblanc, Rochas, Erès, Saks Fifth Avenue & J Crew.
