Metallic Moments S/S 07

We've been seeing a lot of metallics these last few seasons but I thought that the S/S 07 looks deserved a thread of their own...

At first, when the shows started in NY it seemed that the metallic trend was taking a turn toward the more muted, sort of restrained/dulled metallics... but as the collections went on from city to city it seemed that there is more of an "anything goes" metallic moment

I'm fond of metallics and will pretty much take them however i can get them so personally, I'm glad that the trend seems to be continuing this season

oh, i love this. it seems quite new to what we know as 'metallics', or the images we tend to associate with the word anyway. i like that most of these examples seem to be blended with pastel colors so it's not that obvious, it's unusual but very quiet and less flamboyant than past seasons. thanks for bringing this in, madame chrissy.
