While we had a dedicated thread on thigh-high slits for S/S 10.11, which can be found here, the trend seems to have held on strong for F/W, with the slits only slightly lower to battle the frigid temps.

Like S/S the high slits were often paired with longer lengths

The site is loading slowly at the moment so those are a handful of looks I could pull - but I'm sure there are more out there!

I LOOOOVE thigh high slits. They're so dramatic and sexy and can bring a much needed serverity to certain pieces.

For me, NO ONE does thigh high slits like Donatella. It's the Versace signature.

I hate front slits but the side ones are awesome...agreed about Donatella being the queen

Ellie Saab always does that fabulous thigh high slit that opens and closes

Yes!! The frontal slit surpasses the boundary of sexiness and more often than not ventures into sl*tty territory....ahem....Cavalli....ahem.

I definitely prefer this trend with softer flowy fabrics, it creates more movement and drama

^I agree.

A girl in my class made a long pleated skirt and in the pleats was some flawy transparent fabric (so as you move some of it shows up ) and the zip went from the top down so you could make the cut as low or high as you want. It is really awesome.

Saint Angie`s leg at the Oscar`s totally ruined this look for me!

^haha

so much of this trend this upcoming FW season as well..
