That must have been quite a controversial issue! The Story of Ohhh... and There's More To a Bathing Suit Than Meets the Eye... are just fantastic and so unique. I love how kinky and fun the Newton ed is. I don't like the cover that much, though.

i'm always agape when i see prices listed for garments for in old vogue

for example on on of justaguy's above scans a liberty of london blouse is listed at 26$ a skirt at 45$.

even accounting for inflation, similar items from liberty of london would cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars nowadays each.

it seems that vogue was using cheap+chic well before anna wintour was there (unsure of why she gets all the credit for introducing this to vogue)
