Stunning and so sensual! I've never been a fan of Bibi's work, but this is hands down her emotive shot yet and looks set to be Vogue China's strongest cover of the year. I like the colours, the styling, and I don't even care that she's not making direct eye contact.

Also, can we have a drumroll for Lara Mullen? She drew my attention on a UK Marie Claire cover years ago with that mod cut of hers, and here she is on her first solo Vogue cover (to my knowledge.) It's just so nice to see a different side of a model's career .......slowly building up and not just skyrocket like the Frans and Rebeccas of the industry. Congrats, love! And I must say she's really blossoming into quite the British beauty.

Lara was an overnight sensation, though. Literally. She made her runway debut at Alexander Wang just weeks after getting scouted - followed by a Prada exclusive - and landed covers for i-D, Dazed, etc. All within the first few months of her career. I never bought the hype as you could tell she was very green, and of course it didn't last. I mean, in what other occupation are you supposed to master every skill from the get-go, without any training? Even the girls you mention, Fran and Rebecca, spent a couple of years in development before their big breakthrough...

That said, Lara's career resurgence has been very impressive, it's a rare and wonderful thing indeed.
