What's Your Nostalgia Music?

Van Morrison, i don't know the names of them all i just know the lyrics... all the music of the last 80's early 90's that were in the top 40 remind me of my childhood but music my dad used to play like Ben Harper, Sinead O Conner, John Lee Hooker and my mums music like Dusty Springfield remind me of being young with my dad living at home...

omg. michael jackson thriller was the theme tune to my childhood.
best song everr. & billie jean.
the first song i ever danced to. :P

Spice Girls... they were my first idols and that was when I first started to care about music. (I was about 10) I can still remember all the songs from their first album :P my best friend and I used to make our own dances to the music LOL. I also liked aqua, solid harmonie, pretty much every pop hit from around 97/98

haha, I kinda enjoy listening to Ace of Base songs... even though I had no idea who they were when they were big. their sound is so cheap but in a fun way :D

But also The Pixies and The Smiths (I still listen to them though).

When I was really young my mum used to play Elton John, Lionel Richie and Eric Clapton in the car, so I guess that's nostalgia for me too.

Also NKOTB and Take That of course. Take That more than anything actually - I was seriously obsessed with them.

My ULTIMATE nostalgic CD must be the lovely Trainspotting soundtrack. I re-discovered it a few days ago and it almost brings tears to my eyes/makes me tingle all over from the childhood memories.
(Yes, when I was 8 I liked the trainspotting soundtrack. AND I had seen the movie. :innocent:)
