I love those light blue shoes.
Anyone have a photo of the back of her hair here? Im trying to figure out exactly how she has pulled her hair to the side... it almost looks like a little bun. Also did anyone ever find the star cuff earring?

I'm almost positive her cuff is Chanel.

Thanks. Im thinking now its a screw style clip earring since she doesnt have pierced ears & even mentions clips in this article. This is something I found about her getting ready for Met from style.com. Sorry if its already been posted.

This year’s Met Costume Institute Gala may have been all about Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli, but Karl Lagerfeld made sure the house of Chanel was represented on the red carpet, even though he himself couldn’t be there. Poppy Delevingne and Stella Tennant both showed up to the annual event in Lagerfeld’s designs—as did one Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, the Pirates of the Caribbean star and last year’s Cannes Film Festival Chopard Trophée winner. The half-Catalan, half-French actress took the steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the arm of French actor Gaspard Ulliel, whom you may remember from the Martin Scorsese-directed short film for the brand’s Bleu de Chanel fragrance.

But before the flashbulbs went off on Fifth Avenue and glamour ensued, we met up with Bergès-Frisbey at the Bowery Hotel, where she was holed up—Diet Coke in hand—with makeup artist Fulvia Farolfi and hairstylist Vinz. “I’m thinking a metallic gray eye and a soft lip, very natural skin. Nothing too strong because she’s very young. Then beautiful lashes,” Farolfi said, planning out her face-painting approach while looking at Astrid’s gorgeous, two-tiered Chanel couture dress that was embellished with white sequins and metallic silver chains. Prepping skin with Chanel’s Precision Lotion Douceur Gentle Hydrating Toner, Hydra Beauty Serum and Hydramax + Active Moisture Gel Cream, Farolfi layered a veil of its Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup in B10 on top. “With the combination of [the skincare and the foundation], she doesn’t need any powder. We’ll see, though,” the makeup artist said as she dusted Chanel’s Joues Contraste Blush in Rose Ecrin across Bergès-Frisbey’s cheeks. “I usually do a picture with the flash at the end with her phone, not mine, to see if it shines.”

Next came the eyes, which were rooted in Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eyeliner in Rose Platine. “The pencil makes the eye shadow stick,” Farolfi said, blending the metallic steely pink pigment up to the crease and topping it with shades of slate and silver from Chanel’s Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Variation. “I’m taking the shadow way up to the crease but blending it less so it’s less like a raccoon—so it’s softer,” she explained, dragging the color underneath Astrid’s lower lids as well so it looked “like a cloud of gray.” Shades of brown from Chanel’s Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Prelude were applied to the root of Bergès-Frisbey’s lashes for depth before the lashes were curled and coated with Chanel Inimitable Mascara in Black. “I usually like purple mascara,” Astrid chimed in as her iPod played the French/Finnish pop band the Do. “It shows up pretty natural and for me it’s really cool for the day because it doesn’t look very dark. Sometimes I think black mascara is too heavy,” she admitted. Lips were left natural, with a slight finger-pressing of Chanel’s forthcoming Rouge Allure lipstick in Secret and its clear Rouge Coco Baume.

“C’est jolie, uh?” Bergès-Frisbey asked Vinz as Farolfi put the finishing touches on her face courtesy of a hair spray-coated mascara wand that was swept through her eyebrows. “It’s a Japanese hair spray that’s very thin. It just makes the eyebrows stay put.” Farolfi’s other pro tip for big event beauty? Mind your knees and hands. “I get very pink,” Bergès-Frisbey said as Farolfi rubbed a combination of Embryollisse moisturizer and Chanel Vitalumière Aqua foundation over her legs and fingertips to create skin tone uniformity.

After Vinz secured a chic, rough-textured topknot with a little bit of volume in the front, the Leonor Greyl art director played accessories editor, helping his client sift through a clear box of Chanel fine jewelry. “I don’t have holes and I never wear earrings, so for me it’s very bizarre to wear two,” Bergès-Frisbey said, selecting a single diamond-encrusted dangling clip, which she secured onto her right earlobe as Farolfi painted her nails and toes with Chanel Le Vernis in #167 Ballerina, a pale pink, and sent her on her way.

“I think she will be fine,” Farolfi said of Bergès-Frisbey’s red-carpet fate as the town car door closed behind her. “She’s one of those girls who is cool even after six hours of partying.” And while Farolfi didn’t feel obligated to give the young actress a powder compact or eye shadow quad for touch-ups, she did send her off with a black bullet of Rouge Coco Baume. “I told her to put it on after she gets out of the car so her lips are dewy. Hopefully, she listens.”

She's so beautiful. I really hope she gets somewhere as an actress.

Astrid looks so soft and pretty at the festival. :flower: The dress, the general styling, enhances that look, but the shoes seem to serve a completely different tone. I like it when you get a bit of both sometimes, but in this case, think the silver shoes are a bit too forward for the pretty, feminine look.

I'm not a huge fan of the green dress but she still looked very nice. I agree about the silver shoes not really going with the look.
