She looks lovely .. I don't think she overshadows Penelope in any way, they are both beautiful women in completely different ways and completely different stages of life, which you can see just by looking at their faces and attitudes.. I also think it's charming how Penelope holds her.. that's the support that should be always among actors (and women!).

Penelope is holding her had yet Astrid seems not responsive to her. MAybe she's nervous? Or maybe because she's French she is a bit ahead of herself already.. lol. I like what she's wearing a lot, she doesn't need to go all out to stand out. Beautiful girl

I saw Pirates of the carribean, I think the movie was a bit disappointing on the whole. Johnny saved it and Penelope was so full of energy even though I think she's a much better actress in spanish.
the other actors were nice too (i love Geoffrey Rush) and Sam Claflin is the eye candy of the movie.... and then theres Astrid, her acting is so very french.. you can feel that its her first international movie! (its not a bad thing though)
but I think her acting needs to maurate a lot, she has so much potential you can feel it and she has this huge sensibility and shes otherworldy beautiful but her acting needs to evoluate!
its the same for the movie " la fille du puisatier" I had the same feeling she isn't quite there acting wise...

but she has so much potential to be a bloody good actress! I like her very much she's so much better than all those new french actresses who are all daughters of someone in the industry and who take themselves too seriously... GO ASTRID!

The press people seem to have always coupled Penelope, Astrid and Sam together for all the press shoots. Guess because they are the 'beautiful people'. But Astrid (and Pen and Sam for that matter) really are. I love her messy, dishelved style hair.
