I like that pink skirt, too, though I'd love it worlds better if it weren't pink.

I'm not real into the preppy look, so most of this leaves me pretty much cold, but I do adore pleated skirts.

Now I must admit I've never played tennis in my life, but I guarentee if I had that Chanel tennis racket in my possession I would be playing DAILY.

Seriously though, I'm loving wearing true (and inexpensive) tennis skirts this summer - pair them with vintage tees, snug Lacoste polos, fitted oxfords, you name it.

I  the tennis look. As a former Varsity player, the prep look is very me. Oooh wee!

I play tennis on a regular basis... So for me to wear tennis fashion off the court is just too much for me. I try to avoid preppy looks, I'm more of a funky dresser than a classic one.

I would like all those items but at my country club there is a 100% white policy. You have to be completely dressed in white if you want to be/play on the tennis courts.

Although my tennis racquet does not have to be white so I guess I could get the Chanel racquet

Actually most country clubs have a 100% white or 90% white dress code on their tennis courts.

Stupid rule I suppose but I think they enforce it to keep up with tradition. THe club is one of the oldest clubs in Montreal

That's ridiculous - Grand Slam tournaments don't have dress rules that strict...

The Chanel racket though

My tennis club in Oxford had a 90% white rule, so I didn't think it was that uncommon

OT:

Over here Oxford is pretty much synonomous with stuffy/traditional...I nearly wasn't allowed to play croquet at my brother's college because I wasn't in all white. They even take croquet seriously!
