Original caption: 11/2/70-New York: Pantsuits have become fashionable for afternoon wear and are being seen more and more as working girl attire--even in plush offices. These two R & K originals are elongated daytime tunic pantsets. The garment on the left in red, with a blue and white stripe down the center of the tunic is made of 55% polyester and 45% wool knit. The pantsuit on the right is in Navy and is made of 100% polyester knit. Both sell for about $50.

Original caption: 1/31/1973-Paris, France- House of Torrente presented this evening gown (l) for Spring-Summer '73. The gown is made of silk crepe, half navy-blue and half vivid red with long skirt pleated with crisscross at bodice uncovering heart-shaped decollete. Turban is made of same material. The pants suit (r) is of reversible, black-and-red wool by Ted Lapidus. Colors are same on inner (unlined) side as outer side. Most of Paris' designers showed trouser suits for coming spring.

Womens black and white, tricot, longsleeve dress, having a large hounds tooth pattern, and second layering of white dotted red fabric on the fold back cuffs, collar, and hankie, extending from the small chest area pocket. Black buttons close the entire front, with black trim detailing creating a faux pocket look, beside the two front inverted pleats. A shiny black pattern belt is held by a side thread carrier.
