Is it me or does this look a little Chloe-ish? (4th one especially)
I do love the colour palette.

Like the jackets but not liking the crushed velvet or that terrible jumpsuit.

I can't get over the background thingee being the same tone as many of the clothes.

^ i was thinking the same thig. clothes just blended into the background, and its all so foggy and misty - it ruined the whole picture. as for the clothes - very blah, not one piece made me lust for it. boring.

Yeah this is very Chloe/Stella McCartney. And both those labels happen to produce outdated collections from the 1970s. If you're gonna plagiarize you might as well do it right.

When I opened the thread I thought This is going to be really good, because I love the first two looks. But scrolling down it got bad. Really bad. Looks 3 to 6 suck. :yuk:

Normally you're bound to get crappy quality when WWD is shooting the images, just wait for it to be posted on style.com, it will more than likely look a lot more clearer.

even if this shows as true, this still remains one blah resort :D

Phillip Lim asked himself one question when designing Resort: "Would Bianca wear this?" That's Ms. Jagger, of course, and her part-tailored, part-louche influence could be detected in everything from a beige gabardine double-breasted suit to cropped silk kimonos (or "kiminis," as Lim dubbed them) to exotic gold collar necklaces. A draped silk cowhide-patterned dress offered a fresh take on an animal print, and a mint-green leather romper was equal parts tough and sweet.

"I considered how every piece would fit into a girl's life," the designer said. While a chinoiserie-style jumpsuit in sea foam silk has limited real-world potential—unless your schedule includes frequent jaunts to the Riviera, à la Jagger in the seventies—other pieces show Lim's understanding of his customers' fast-paced twenty-first-century lives. Case in point: an off-white blazer with removable leather cuffs and bomberlike lapel detail. Call it three looks for the price of one.
